First time. Great Chinese Food but everything were ordered was spicy...from mild to blistering. No choice of spice level. Loved the hand torn noodles (ask for forks and scissors to cut them). Eggplant and green beans were great. Fish with black beans was light and tasty. Also had spicy dumplings. Definitely need to try the chicken with potatoes next time...cut up drumsticks and thighs with a light brown sauce...HUGE portion. Two minor downsides - QRC menu difficult to navigate (item numbers make no sense and food organized by tabs) and rice...one bowl for two and not freshly cooked, kinda brown meaning old white rice.

It's been probably over 6-7 years since I've last been here. I missed the liang pi noodles with sesame paste! That's probably my favorite xian dish. Sesame paste is a must for me. Blends in so well with the satisfying crunch of the julienned cucumbers, bean sprouts, peanuts, and with the soft bean curd that soaks in all that vinegary, chilli oil goodness with those slurping good liang pi noodles. We got there right when they opened so there was a string smell of cleaning agents. When you're seated there's a QR code which you can order. However you pay with the cashier/waiter at the end. They do take card! In the past, years ago they offered a cash price discount. Not sure if they do that anymore. We also got the lamb skewers. They were moist and tender, although I wish there were more cumin and spice seasoning on it. But the meat quality was good: not dry,not fatty like some other xi an places I've had.

Great place for spicy noodles and wontons. Their sour soup was the best - it's like drinking spicy wontons. Broth was flavorful. This place only has noodles - no rice (at least from what I remembered). Service is typical like any other Asian restaurant.

When they say spicy, they mean SPICY. Dishes and service were decent. Pro Tip: put name down on the paper -it gets packed Dishes: ranked by best 1) Liang Pi Cold-Skin Noodles with Sesame: light and refreshing 2) Cold cut beef: not usually my fav but it had excellent flavor and texture 3) Shrimp, Pork and Leek Dumplings: decent after putting chili oil and soy sauce. Not the best pork & shrimp dumplings I've ever had 4) Biang-Biang Spicy Hand Ripped Noodles: SUPER spicy but lacked really any flavor outside of heat. The noodles have this great chewy texture to it. *chili oil, vinegar, white pepper, and vinegar at each table Logistics: -shopping mall's private parking lot -fills up quickly -accepts cc and order online via QR code -service is quick -has public bathroom

My friends and I met for dinner and left with full satisfied bellies. What I love about Magic Kitchen is the heat level on most menu items can be adjusted. I ordered the Spicy Crispy Chicken and asked for light heat, which was perfect and reminded me of the heat level on a spicy chicken sandwich you'd get elsewhere. I also ordered the shrimp fried rice which I forgot to take a picture of. We added soy sauce to it, since it lacked that additional salty kick but was very good with lots of shrimp. My friend ordered the beef brisket hand ripped noodle soup which was amazing and spicy. The broth had so much depth and flavor. My friends both ordered the soy milk sweetened to cool their mouths. The service was good, everyone was friendly, the restaurant was tidy and spotless.

My buddy SV and I were cruising Convoy on 5/15 and landed @ Shin Xi Magic Kitchen which came highly recommended so we had high expectations. Parking is easy which I appreciate since I'm disabled. The interior of the restaurant is clean. Very clean. I like that. I didn't go to the bathroom but I bet it was sparkly and spotless. We grabbed a table. As others have noted they bring a Winnie The Pooh water pitcher. You zap a QR code for the menu and to place your food order. This is great except if you need to customize a dish. SV doesn't like spice as much as I do so I specified for less spice on the dumplings but they ignored the request. But she didn't care so I didn't make an issue of it. Based on the helpful Yelp reviews I'd read I was super excited to order the stewed pork burger but unfortunately the bun really ruined it for me. The pork was tender and juicy and flavorful and wonderful. But the bun was hard and somewhat stale. Big disappointment. I doubt I'd doubt I'd order it again. The Dumplings were awesome. Very good. Filled with pork and cabbage I believe. I asked but never got an answer. The standout dish was the #34 Cumin Lamb Biang Biang Noodles. In the Yelp reviews I'd read emphasized how amazing this dish is and it truly is. The noodles are delectable. The lamb is seasoned perfectly with chili oil, garlic and spices. It was fun combining and mixing all the flavors together. The flavors build over time making each new bite better than the last. One of the best things I've eaten in a long time. I brought home some leftovers and had it for breakfast the following day. I'm craving it again. Already planning my next visit.

Our new favorite spot for hand pulled noodle!! Seeing the overwhelming number of reviews and overall rating for this place, I knew we just have to pay them a visit. We both love thick, wide hand pulled noodle, and this place did not disappoint. I like that they have the QR code for us to scan and order straight from our phone. You can place the order all at once, or as you go, but we prefer to do everything at once and just share all the food. Most of the food come out very quickly. Our go to have been #33 Beef Brisket Hand Pulled Noodle Soup for us, and the Hand-Ripped Noodle with Egg and tomato for our toddler. The noodle is always perfect with the right amount of chewiness. The broth for the beef noodle soup is full of flavor. The beef brisket comes in cubes, not slices like most places, so they're able to absorb all the flavor of the broth and super tender at the same time. The price is a big higher than your regular Chinese restaurant, but it's worth it. Bonus point for having Yun Tea House just a few steps away, perfect end to a great meal!
